Killer Monkeys take 2nd Place!

|
Congratulations go out to the Killer Monkeys who
stole 2nd place on November 12th
in the San Dieguito League Winterball tournament.
They hit, ran and won their way through 3 games to
play a fourth and final game of the day against San
Dieguito’s top team. After battling hard in a
close game they came home happy, but exhausted, with 2nd
place!

Congratulations to the Carlsbad 12U Chaos team for
finishing in second place in the North County Winterball
Association tournament held November 10-12.
A total of 16 teams from various
North County leagues competed in the event.
The Chaos team won both of its
pool games, cruised through three more bracket play games, before falling
to Vista 9-7 in a seesaw battle that remained tied going into the 7th and
final inning. Two players each sustained a broken thumb in the semifinal
game, but this group of girls didn't quit. Please tip your CSA hat/visor
to:
Kim, Hailey, Elaine, Turi, Hayley,
Makenna, Erica, Tanja, Haylee, Marissa, and
Coaches Matt,
Cristi, and John |
