ABOUT THE EMPLOYEES

Brian D. Johnson owner and operator of Best Business Open System Services was born in Long Beach California. He has been in the Information Technology (IT) and Management Information Systems (MIS) business for over 30 years. After attending various community colleges and a computer programming trade school, Brian started his career as an office clerk in 1972. In 1974, he started programming computers as a professional. He later earned an associate science degree and continued to work his way up to programmer/analyst. In 1982, Brian started his own business working as an Independent Contractor doing computer programming and Consultant work until 1991. At that time, he joined May Department Stores, Inc. after deciding to close down his business and work for them full time as a Senior Programmer Analyst. This opportunity was offered to him after completing the Time and Attendance HR/Payroll project as a contractor and presented to him for a job well done.

In 1993 though, May Company decided to shut down west coast operations and move to Saint Louis. It was another tough decision to make, since Brian was so fond of the company and the people he had worked for, but he decided to depart ways and stay in Southern California. Then working for various companies afterwards with titles from Systems Analyst to Engineer, Brian moved to San Diego County after accepting a position at Boeing Aircraft Corporation as Senior Programmer in 1997. Living in Huntington Beach in Orange County for over 18 years, he and his wife and four children then moved to a new home in North County San Diego in 1998. He was laid off from Boeing of all things in early 2001 after completing the Jet Aircraft Catalog project. At that time, Brian then decided to start another Business for himself and retool his computer programming skills focusing on developing Internet Web Applications instead.

After 5 years of hard work and study, Brian is now progressing again as a very skilled and knowledged computer good guy. The companies that employ him for his services find themselves with a very valuable asset and fine person to have around. He has shown his work to be exemplary and that of the top most quality. This has always been the case for Brian; he has taken pride in completing quality projects on time and has the highest respect for every company and individual he has ever worked for.

Elaine Johnson: Graphic Designer Specializing in Print and Web.  Miss Johnson has been working in Graphic Design for six years, specializing in Print Design and corporate identity for numerous companies. In 2002 she attended the Art Institute studying Visual Effects and Motion Graphics. Later she became involved with design and classically trained artistry.
