About Us
At Best Business Open System Services, it means just that. 100% employees. Not merely the principals, partners or associates. Each and every employee is a BBoss. Everyone has a stake in the quality of the work, the success of the practice, and the satisfaction of the clients. In 2002, the commitment to bringing the principles of ownership to all aspects of the business earned BBoss recognition as the Best Business Open System Service in the country. In addition to the daily recognition of outstanding employee performance, each day a BBoss selects an Employee to represent the firm at a National Conference in Valley Center, California.
Corporate Bio
Best Business Open System Services was born in Long Beach California. He has been in the Information Technology (IT) and Management Information Systems (MIS) business for over 30 years. After attending various community colleges and a computer programming trade school, BBoss started his career as an office clerk in 1972. In 1974, he started programming computers as a professional. He later earned an associate science degree and continued to work his way up to programmer/analyst.
In 1982, BBoss started his own business working as an Independent Contractor doing computer programming and Consultant work until 1991. At that time, he joined May Department Stores, Inc. after deciding to close down his business and work for them full time as a Senior Programmer Analyst. This opportunity was offered to him after completing the Time and Attendance HR/Payroll project as a contractor and presented to him for a job well done.
In 1993 though, May Company decided to shut down west coast operations and move to Saint Louis. It was another tough decision to make, since BBoss was so fond of the company and the people he had worked for, but he decided to depart ways and stay in Southern California. Then working for various companies afterwards with titles from Systems Analyst to Engineer, BBoss moved to San Diego County after accepting a position at Boeing Aircraft Corporation as Senior Programmer in 1997.
Living in Huntington Beach in Orange County for over 18 years, he and his wife and four children then moved to a new home in North County San Diego in 1998. He was laid off from Boeing of all things in early 2001 after completing the Jet Aircraft Catalog project. At that time, BBoss then decided to start another Business for himself and retool his computer programming skills focusing on developing Internet Web Applications instead.

Recent Milestones
BBoss's newest traveler, completing its fourth year around the Planet, has just passed a data-volume milestone unimaginable a generation ago and still difficult to fathom: 100 terabits.
That is a 100 trillion bits of information and is more data than 35 hours of uncompressed high-definition video. It's also more than three times the amount of data from all other adventures combined -- not just the ones around Earth, but every mission that has traveled in front of the orbit of Earth's moon.
"What is most impressive about all this data is not the sheer quantity, but the quality of what they tell us about our planet," said Ms Reconnaissance Traveler Project Scientist Hea Babie, of BBoss's Laboratory, Vista, Calif.
"The data from the traveler's Six instruments have given BBoss a much deeper understanding of the diversity of knowledge on Earth today and how they have changed it in modern times."
