I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the South. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring."

And if America is to be a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!
Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado!
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California!
But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!
Let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation, so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate, we can not consecrate, we can not hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

You have heard it said, “It’s not whether you win or lose but it's how you play the game”.But, winning is everything. It’s true that if you cheat to win that’s a lousy way to play the game and no one wants to win that way. Because that’s really not winning, it’s called cheating. There are really no winners or losers if someone cheats. But, if you have ever played the game without cheating, Without getting upset, without being a poor sport, Without losing your cool, without cussing and complaining, Or played any other way than playing the game fair and square and on the up and up and have still lost, You are left with a sense of emptiness.

Now, it is true, these qualities of playing fair are always admired and in that sense everybody can be considered a winner and everybody should continue to play the game that way, but there is one team or individual who truly gets the trophy and the 1st place prize award and the others do not.

So you see, winning every time really means winning is everything.

Let this be explained from a Biblical point of view:

1st Corinthians 13:8 States: Love never fails. Deduction: Love always succeeds (wins). 1st John 4:8 at the end of the verse states: …God is Love. Conclusion: God (love) always succeeds (wins) Revelation 4:11 at the end of the verse states: “Lord God Almighty” …has created all things, and for His pleasure they are and were created. Conclusion: God created everything for His own reason & purpose.

Synopsis:

Winning is God's Love.

God is always loving.

Love is always winning.

Everything is of God.

God is a part of everything.

Therefore:

Winning is everything!
