TEN ITEMS THAT WILL TAKE US TO VICTORY IN ANSWERED PRAYER:

#1.          SPECIFY, PINPOINT, IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM.

Matt 9:28    And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him:

             and Jesus saith unto them, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?”

             They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

Matt 9:29    Then touched he their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it

             unto you.”

James 4:2    Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot

             obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

Jer 33:3     Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and

             mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Psalms 34:9  O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that

             fear him.

Psalms 34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek

             the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Psalms 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of

             the LORD.

Psalms 34:12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he

             may see good?

Psalms 34:13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Psalms 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

Psalms 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are

             open unto their cry.

Psalms 34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the

             remembrance of them from the earth.

Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out

             of all their troubles.

#2.        MAKE THE DECISION TO ANSWER IT BY FAITH (A QUALITY DECISION).

Heb 11:6   But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh

           to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them

           that diligently seek him.

Matt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, “Because of your unbelief: for verily I

           say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall

           say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall

           remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

2 Cor 5:7  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Heb 4:1    Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering

           into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

Heb 4:2    For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the

           word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in

           them that heard it.

Heb 4:3    For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I

           have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although

           the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Heb 4:4    For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise,

           And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

#3.          FIND OUT THE PROMISE WHICH IS ACTUALLY THE SUSTENENCE FOR WHAT YOU

             HOPE AND YOUR TITLE FOR IT.

Psalms 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his

             holy name.

Psalms 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Psalms 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Psalms 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with

             lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Psalms 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is

             renewed like the eagle's.

1 John 5:14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask

             any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

1 John 5:15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that

             we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Matt 21:22   “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye

             shall receive.”

Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their

              destructions.

Phil 4:19    But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in

             glory by Christ Jesus.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of

         things not seen.

Heb 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word

         of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which

         do appear.

Heb 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain,

         by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of

         his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was

         not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation

         he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh

         to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them

         that diligently seek him.

Eph 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath

         blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Ps 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause:

         yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath

         pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

#4.        HEAR THE WORD OF GOD (FAITH COMES BY HEARING).

Rom 10:17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Prov 4:20  My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Prov 4:21  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine

           heart.

Prov 4:22  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their

           flesh.

Prov 4:23  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Prov 4:24  Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from

           thee.

Prov 4:25  Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight

           before thee.

Prov 4:26  Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Prov 4:27  Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Matt 12:34 “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things?

           for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”

Matt 12:35 “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth

           good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth

           forth evil things.”

Matt 12:36 “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they

           shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”

Matt 12:37 “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou

           shalt be condemned.”

#5.      PLANT THE WORD IN YOUR HEART BY MEDITATION... THEN FAITH ARISES.

Mk 9:23  Jesus said unto him, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible

         to him that believeth.”

Mk 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, “Have faith in God.”

Mk 11:23 “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this

         mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall

         not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he

         saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Mk 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray,

         believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Josh 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to

         do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee:

         turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest

         prosper whithersoever thou goest.

Josh 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou

         shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do

         according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make

         thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Josh 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not

         afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee

         whithersoever thou goest.

Col 2:6  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

#6.        HOOK UP WITH THE POWER OF CONFESSION.

Heb 10:23  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;

           (for he is faithful that promised;)

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, “That whosoever shall say unto this

           mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall

           not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which

           he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Matt 7:7   “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and

           it shall be opened unto you:”

Matt 7:8   “For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and

           to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

Matt 7:9   “Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give

           him a stone?”

Matt 7:10  “Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?”

Matt 7:11  “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your

           children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give

           good things to them that ask him?”

Matt 10:32 “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess

           also before my Father which is in heaven.”

Matt 10:33 “But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before

           my Father which is in heaven.”

Matt 18:18 “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be

           bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be

           loosed in heaven.”

Matt 18:19 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as

           touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them

           of my Father which is in heaven.”

Gal 3:13   Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a

           curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth

           on a tree:

Gal 3:14   That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through

           Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit

           through faith.

Joel 3:10  Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears:

           let the weak say, I am strong.

#7.        ACT ON GOD’S WORD.

James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all

           men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 1:6  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is

           like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

James 1:7  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the

           Lord.

James 1:8  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:9  Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

James 1:10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the

           grass he shall pass away.

James 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it

           withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace

           of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade

           away in his ways.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried,

           he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to

           them that love him.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God

           cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust,

           and enticed.

James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when

           it is finished, bringeth forth death.

James 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh

           down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness,

           neither shadow of turning.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should

           be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear,

           slow to speak, slow to wrath:

James 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness,

           and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable,

           gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits,

           without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Luke 6:46  “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”

2 Cor 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us

           a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

2 Cor 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things

           which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal;

           but the things which are not seen are eternal.

#8.        APPLY THE POWER OF PATIENCE WITH FAITH.

Heb 10:35  Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence

           of reward.

Heb 10:36  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of

           God, ye might receive the promise.

James 1:1  James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve

           tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

James 1:2  My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

James 1:3  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

James 1:4  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and

           entire, wanting nothing.

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we

           stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that

           tribulation worketh patience;

Romans 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad

           in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Deut 8:2   And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee

           these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove

           thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep

           his commandments, or no.

Deut 8:16  Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew

           not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do

           thee good at thy latter end;

#9.        WAIT ON GOD’S TIME... THE BIBLE SAYS THAT HE WHICH BELIEVETH SHALL

           NOT MAKE HASTE (WAIT... WAIT, I SAY, ON THE LORD).

Eccles 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under

           the heaven:

Eccles 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time

           to pluck up that which is planted;

Hab 2:1    I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will

           watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when

           I am reproved.

Hab 2:2    And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it

           plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Hab 2:3     For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak,

           and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come,

           it will not tarry.

Hab 2:4     Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:

            but the just shall live by his faith.

2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto

           the glory of God by us.

Ps 27:14   Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine

           heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

#10.       EXPECT AN ANSWER... GET READY TO RECEIVE FROM GOD.

Mk 11:24   “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray,

           believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Num 23:19  God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that

           he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he

           spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Matt 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

Tit 1:2    In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before

           the world began;

John 10:35 “If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the
