PROVERBS 4:20‑27
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their
flesh.
Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of
life.
Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let
all thy ways be established.
Turn not to the
right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. |

hast sent me

as we are one: |
| |
|
| |
ROMANS 8:1,2,17‑
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ
Jesus who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in
Christ Jesus hath made me free, from the law of sin and death.
And if children, then heirs; heirs of
God, and joint‑heirs with Christ;
if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified
together |
| |
|
| |
ROMANS 8:26‑32
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:
for we know not
what we should pray for as we ought:
but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,
because he maketh intercession for
the saints according to the will of God.
And we know
that all things work together for
good
to them that love God
to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For whom he did foreknow,
he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his
Son,
that he might be the firstborn amoung many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate,
them he also called:
and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he
justified, them he also glorified.
What shall we then say to these
things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
| |
|
| |
ROMANS 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. |
| |
|
| |
CORINTHIANS 1:20,21
Where is the wise?
where is the
scribe?
where is the
disputer of this world?
hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For after that in the wisdom of God
the world by wisdom knew not God,
it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save
them that believes. |
| |
|
| |
I CORINTHIANS
26,31
For ye see your calling, brethren,
how that not many wise men after the flesh,
not many mighty, not many noble, are called: |
| |
|
| |
I CORINTHIANS
2:9‑12
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen,
nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man,
the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:
for the Spirit searcheth all
things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?
even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit
of the world, but the spirit which is of God;
that we might know the things that are freely given to us
of God. |
| |
|
| |
I CORINTHIANS
3:21‑23
Therefore let no man glory in men.
For all things are your's;
Whether Paul or Apollos,
or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or
things present, or things to come;
all are your's And ye are Christ's and Christ is God's. |
| |
|
| |
I CORINTHIANS
13:1‑8
Though I speak with the tongues of
men and of angels, and have not charity,
I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand
all mysteries, and all knowledge;
and though I have all faith so that I could remove
mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
An though I bestow all my goods to
feed the poor, and though I give my
body to be burned,
and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all
things.
Charity never faileth:
but whether there be prophecies,
they shall fail;
whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there
be knowledge, it shall vanish away. |
| |
|
| |
I CORINTHIANS
15:34,57
Awake to righteousness, and sin not;
for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Therefore, my beloved brethern, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always, abounding in the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. |
| |
|
| |
II CORINTHIANS
1:20,21
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and
in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; |
| |
|
| |
II CORINTHIANS
2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to
triumph in Christ,
and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. |
| |
|
| |
II CORINTHIANS
4:17,18
For our light affliction, which is
but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
While we look not at the things which
are seen, but at the things which are not seen:
for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. |
| |
|
| |
II CORINTHIANS
10:4,5
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God
to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every
high thing that exalteth itself against the
knowledge of God,
and bringing
into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; |
| |
|
| |
GALATIANS 3:13‑14
Christ hath redeeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written,
Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
That the blessing of Abraham might
come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ;
that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through
faith. |
| |
|
| |
GALATIANS 5:22‑24
But the fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such
there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified
the flesh with the affections and lusts. |
| |
|
| |
GALATIANS 2:20
I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the
Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. |
| |
|
| |
EPHESIANS 1:17‑23
That the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory,
may give unto you the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened;
that ye may know what is the hope of his calling,
and what the riches of the glory of
his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us‑ward who
believe,
according to the working of his
mighty power,
Which he wrought in Christ, when he
raised him from the dead,
and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
far above all principality, and
power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named,
not only in this world, but also in
that which is to come:
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Which is his
body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. |
| |
|
| |
EPHESIANS 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. |
| |
|
| |
EPHESIANS 6:8
Knowing that whatsoever good thing
any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord,
whether he be bond
or free. |
| |
|
| |
EPHESIANS 10‑18
Finally, my brethren, be strong in
the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the
wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the
evil day,
and having done all, to stand.
Stand therfore, having your
loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righeousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel
of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall
be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the
Spirit,
and watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints; |
| |
|
| |
PHILIPPIANS 4:4‑9
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Let your moderation be known unto all
men. The Lord is at hand.
Be careful for nothing;
but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be known unto God.
And the peace of God,
which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren,
whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any
virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
Those things, which ye have both
learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do:
and the God of peace shall be with you. |
| |
|
| |
PHILIPPIANS 13‑19
I can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth me.
Notwithstanding ye have well done, that
ye did communicate with my affliction.
Now ye Philippians know also, that in
the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from
Macedonia
,
no church communicated with me as concerning giving and
receiving, but ye only.
For even in Thessalonicaye sent once and again unto my necessity.
Not because I desire a gift: but I
desire fruit that may abound to your account.
But I have all, and abound: I am
full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you,
and odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice
acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
But my God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. |
| |
|
| |
PHILIPPIANS 2:13‑16
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
That ye may be blameless and
harmless, the sons of God,
without rebuke, in the midst of a
crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Holding forth
the word of life;
that I may rejoice
in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. |
| |
|
| |
COLOSSIANS 1:9‑14
For this cause we also, since the day
we heard it, do not cease to pray
for you
and desire that ye might be filled with
the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritial understanding;
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord
unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work,
and increasing in the knowledge of
God;
Strengthened with all might,
according to his glorious power, unto
all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet to be
partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Who hath delivered us from the power
of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through
his blood, even the forgiveness of
sins: |
| |
|
| |
COLOSSIANS 2:3,6
In whom are hid all the treasures of
wisdom and knowledge.
And this I say, lest any man should beguile
you with enticing words.
For though I be absent in the flesh,
yet am I with you in spirit, joying and beholding
your order,
and the stedfastness of your
faith in Christ.
As ye have therefore received Christ
Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: |

I TIMOTHY 1:2
Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace,
from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. |
| |
|
| |
II TIMOTHY 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit
of fear; but of power, and of love, and of sound mind. |
| |
|
| |
II TIMOTHY 2:15‑30
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
And their word will eat as doth a
canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
Who concerning the truth have erred,
saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow
the faith of some.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,
The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every
one that nameth the name of Christ depart from
iniquity.
But in a great house there are not
only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth;
and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
If a man therefore purge himself from
these, he shall be a vessel unto honour,
sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow
righteousness, faith, charity, peace,
with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
But foolish and unlearned questions
avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
And the servant of the Lord must not
strive; but be gentle unto all men,
apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose
themselves;
if God peradventure will give them
repentance to acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. |

|
| |
HEBREWS 1:3,14
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of
his person,
and upholding all things by the word
of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins,
sat down on the right hand of the
Majesty on high;
Are they not all ministering spirits,
sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? |
| |
|
| |
HEBREWS 2:14‑16
Forasmuch then as the children are
partakers of flesh and blood,
he also himself likewise took part of
the same;
that through death he might destroy him
that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
And deliver them who through fear of
death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took
on him the seed of Abraham. |
| |
|
| |
HEBREWS 3:1,3
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers
of the heavenly calling,
consider the Apostle and High Priest
of our profession, Christ Jesus;
For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses,
inasmuch as he who hath builded the
house hath more honour than the house. |
| |
|
| |
HEBREWS 10:16
This is the convenant that I will make with
them after those days, saith the Lord,
I will put my laws into their hearts,
and in their minds will I write them; |
| |
|
| |
HEBREWS 10:23,
35‑36
Let us hold fast the profession of
our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Cast not away therefore your confindence, which hath great recompence of reward.
For ye have need of patience, that,
after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. |
| |
|
| |
HEBREWS 11:1‑6
Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good
report.
Through faith we understand that the
worlds were framed by the word of God,
so that things which are seen were not made of things
which do appear.
By faith Abel offered unto God a more
excellent sacrifice than Cain,
by which he obtained witness that he
was righteous,
God tesitfying of his gifts: and by it he being, dead yet speaketh.
By faith Enoch was translated that he
should not see death;
and was not found, because God had
translated him:
for before his translation he had this testimony, that he
pleased God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. |

JAMES 1:1‑9
James, a servant of God and of the
Lord Jesus Christ,
to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad,
greeting.
My brethren, count it all joy when ye
fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be
perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him
ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing
wavering.
For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall
receive any thing of the Lord.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Let the brother of low degree rejoice
in that he is exalted: |
| |
|
| |
JAMES 22‑26
But be ye
doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
For if any be a hearer of word, and
not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway foretteth what manner of man he was.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of libery, and continueth therin,
he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work,
this man shall be blessed in his deed.
If any man among you seem to be
religious, and bridleth not his tongue,
but deceiveth his own heart,
this man's religion is vain. |
| |
|
| |
JAMES 2:17
Even so faith,
if it hath not works, is dead, being alone |
| |
|
| |
JAMES 3:2,6
For in many things we offend all.
If any man offend not in word, the
same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole
body.
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our
members,
that it defileth the whole body,
and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is
set on fire of hell. |
| |
|
| |
JAMES 3:17
But the wisdom that is from above is first
pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated,
full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and
without hypocrisy. |
| |
|
| |
JAMES 4:2
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and
desire to have, and cannot obtain:
ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. |
| |
|
| |
JAMES 4:7,8
Submit yourselves therfore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw
nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners;
and purify your hearts, ye double minded. |
| |
|
| |
JAMES 5:16‑18
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may
be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much.
Elisas was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he
prayed earnestly that it might not rain:
and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years
and six months.
And he prayed again, and the heaven
gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. |

I PETER 3:9‑15
Not rendering evil for evil, or
railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing;
knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a
blessing.
For he that will love life, and see
good days,
let him refrain his tongue from evil,
and his lips that they speak no guile:
Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayer:
but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is
good?
But and if ye suffer for
righteousness' sake, happy are ye:
and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give and answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with
meekness and fear: |
| |
|
| |
I PETER 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his
own body on the tree,
that we, being dead to sins, should live unto
righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. |
| |
|
| |
I PETER 5:6,7
Humble yourselves therfore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for
he careth for you. |
| |
|
| |
II PETER 1:1‑10
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle
of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us
through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you
through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
According as his divine power hath
given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that
hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding
great and precious promises:
that by these ye might be partakers
of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through
lust.
And beside this, giving all
diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to
temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness;
and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and
abound,
they make you that ye
shall neither be barren nor unfruitful
in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off,
and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give
diligence to make your calling and election sure:
for if ye do these things, ye shall
never fall: |
| |
|
| |
II PETER 3:18
And the fruit of righteousness is
sown in peace of them that make peace. |
| |
|
| |
I JOHN 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |
| |
|
| |
I JOHN 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil;for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. |
| |
|
| |
I JOHN 3:22‑23
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of
him, because we keep his commandments,
and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. |
| |
I JOHN 4:1,4,10
BELOVED, believe not every spirit.but try the spirits whether they are of God:because many false prophets
are gone out into the world. Ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in
you, than he that is in the world.
Herein is love,
not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins |
| |
|
| |
I JOHN 4:17‑19
Herein is our love made perfect, that
we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in
this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect
love casteth out: because fear hath torment.
He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
We love him, because he first loved
us. |
| |
|
| |
I JOHN 5:3‑5
For this is the love of God, that we
keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:
and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? |
| |
|
| |
I JOHN 4:14‑15
And we have seen and do testify that
the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is
the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. |
| |
|
| |
III JOHN 2:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that
thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy
soul prospereth. |
| |
|
| |
JUDE 20‑25
But ye, beloved, building up
yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God,
looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
And of some have compassion, making a
difference:
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the
garment spotted by the flesh.
Now unto him that is able to keep you
from falling,
and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding
joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. |
| |
|
| |
REVELATION 1:5‑6
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us, and washed us
from our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and priests
unto God and his Father;
to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. |
| |
|
... and many more exceeding great and precious promises that The Lord has provided found in His Word the truth.
